Happy Thanksgiving! (I'm actually writing/posting this on Thanksgiving Eve, but oh well...most of you will probably not read it until Thanksgiving.)
I hope you all have a wonderful day and eat lots of wonderful food and spend lots of time thinking about all the things to be thankful for <3
Speaking of which, it's only fitting that I share a few of the things I'm thankful for here. These include food, water, warm clothing, etc. These are all basic, everyday things, but I really am thankful to have them and I don't want to take them for granted. Near the top of the things I am grateful for are my awesome family and amazing friends. Because for real, I am blessed to know some pretty special people. And even though you've all heard me rant and grumble about it a lot recently, I really am thankful for writing. I'm grateful for the outlet it gives me; the opportunity to express my otherwise nonsensical thoughts, ideas, feelings, etc. I'm grateful that I was able to successfully write, edit, and publish Continuing Forever (and endlessly thankful for the people who helped me to make that possible). I'm blessed to be currently on the roll with the sequel- and very very very thankful that I got out of my major writing slump with enough time to make my 50K word goal a possibility.
I'm grateful for all the little things that help to make life pleasurable- books, cats, tea, blankets, good music, autumn leaves, the sun, the sky, the ocean, the mountains, my dog, my cat, my other cat, my other nine cats, shampoo that smells like lavender and rosemary (at the same time!!), pens, chocolate, mascara, the internet, TV shows, movies, anime, Youtube...all the little things that I don't need, but am blessed to enjoy on a pretty regular basis.
Above all, I am thankful for my powerful, loving, and merciful God, who has blessed me with all of the things mentioned above and so much more.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever.
