Hello, internet-dwelling humanoids! May ended yesterday, so... yeah. It's June. We're about halfway through the year, and best of all, IT'S SUMMER. (Okay, not officially, but I'm still calling it Summer.) This post will be a May wrap-up, and then instead of just a June "looking ahead" segment, I've written a "looking ahead to Summer" section... it works out, since a lot of my Summer activities this year happen to take place in June. Let's begin, shall we? May Wrap-Up May was a busy month; it also seemed very short. We had a lot of rain this month. I usually enjoy rain, but after a couple of days... ugh. Let's just say that I've been enjoying the summery weather a lot in between rain showers and thunderstorms. Prom was this month; I went with a group of friends and there was lots of dancing+ a lot of fun. (Pictures from this month will be at the end of this section.) Despite it being so busy, I was able to hang out with friends a lot this month (perks of having a liscense), so that was great! I did a lot of driving in May as well, which has given me more experience and confidence driving alone. I still actually enjoy driving, so that's good! This month I finished Empire of Ivory by Naomi Novik and came so close to finishing Victory of Eagles. In other bookish news, the Everything, Everything movie came out. My sister and I went to see it, and oh my goodness it was so good. I loved it, which is unusual for me when it comes to YA romance. But this movie was cute. (Much like the book, which I recommend highly if you want a love story to read but don't want something ridiculous and clichè.) Writing news: I published more of "Wings"! Parts I, II, III, and IV are all up on the blog and here, and part V will be published this weekend! It's not one you're going to want to miss... ALSO: I FINISHED EDITING/REVISING THE ROUGH DRAFT OF "CF II" (the second book of the "Continuing Forever" trilogy). I am so so excited! I just decided to add two more chapters, so there's that, but I think I'll finish writing those today or tomorrow, and I am so freaking happy eeeeeep. Next step: I should probably give it a title other than "CF II", and I'm reaching out to beta readers within the next week. If all of that goes smoothly, it should be published in July!! This month, as far as music, I listened to Hamilton (obviously...maybe I don't need to mention that anymore...), and I sort of "rediscovered" Bon Jovi and U2. I've enjoyed listening to their music a lot. I also discovered a new group called I Am They. They have beautiful worship songs; I love listening to their music so much. I especially love "Here's My Heart" and "Over and Over Again". So good. A couple of random things from May:
PICTURES: Alright, good talk about May... now on to JUNE (and the rest of Summaaaaa). I'm so excited for this Summer. I'm usually excited for Summer, but this one especially. A lot of fun stuff is happening, and I really want to enjoy it because it's my last summer as a high school student. Yeah, I'm almost a Senior... Which is great because it means I only have one year of high school left...but it's also a little weird. Good, but weird.
The five biggest things that are definitely happening this Summer are
I'm just so excited and I've said that so many times but it's so true asdklsskdklsklkkssskdlksskla. I can't wait. What are some of the things that you're looking forward to this Summer?? Let me know! Thanks for reading this long post, friends. Have a great day! xx, -Anna

Eeep, you've got so many things you're doing this summer, it's exciting! I'm still terrified of driving-- I have a car that I can drive now, but there are some stark differences to my parents' car that driving is still quite awkward. ^.^'
